Met de nieuwste Sims 4 patch zijn er diverse hints opgedoken dat vampiers zullen worden toegevoegd aan het spel. Momenteel zijn vampiers nog niet officieel bevestigd, maar aangezien er diverse hints zijn te vinden in de game code waaruit blijkt dat aan vampiers wordt gewerkt. Wanneer en in welke vorm is nog niet bekend, maar we houden jullie uiteraard op de hoogte.

De fansite Simscommunity heeft alle hints naar vampiers verzameld. Hieronder zie je een aantal van de punten die ze uit de game code hebben kunnen herleiden.

• Vampires may have “alternative forms” that work in a similar way to alien disguises.
• Vampires may have a “talent” of some kind. This could just be a technical way of referring to basic aspects of vampirism, such as sucking plasma.
• There may be a “perks” system, similar to the Retail, Club and Restaurant Perks from various other packs. As a matter of fact, the code suggests there may actually be two simultaneous perk
• There may be an “Occult Powers Panel” which can be used to purchase both “primary” and “secondary” powers using perk points.
• The Occult Powers Panel may be opened from the Needs Panel.
• Having a Vampire and non-Vampire have a baby may create a Sim who is Part Vampire, similar to how there are Part Aliens.
