In twee aparte berichten heeft SimGuruGrant aangegeven dat er in de toekomst misschien meer mogelijkheden voor baby’s zullen komen.

Iemand vroeg of er een optie komt dat kinderen vrienden kunnen maken als ze naar school gaan. Momenteel kan je uit een aantal opties kiezen als je Sims naar school gaan, maar als ze lummelen met vrienden dan ontmoeten ze niemand en raken ze ook niet bevriend met elkaar. Is there a chance that you could make it how it was in the Sims that if you went to school and decided to socialize or make friends that you actually made friends?

Yes, I’d like to make this more robust. In the meantime, go to the park. The huge playground objects are PERFECT for this (and motor skills!).

Ook de mogelijkheid om deuren te sluiten voor bepaalde Sims en bedden toe te wijzen zullen misschien nog worden toegevoegd.

SimGuruGrant: As for lock doors and specific beds, yes, those are things we should do.

Ook zou het mogelijk kunnen zijn om later nog een optie toe te voegen om tatoeages bijvoorbeeld op andere lichaamsdelen te plaatsen:

Het is ook niet uitgesloten dat er later bijzondere Sims zoals bijvoorbeeld aliens of andere bovennatuurlijke Sims worden toegevoegd:

SimGuruGrant: Occults are very difficult because they affect a LOT of different systems. Personally, I would rather handle one at a time as it lets us focus on it, do it right, and add a lot of heart to it. But, doing many at once is ALSO fun because, well, things get crazy. What do YOU prefer?

SimGuruHolms liet daarnaast weten dat het misschien mogelijk zal zijn om een functie in te bouwen zodat je bijvoorbeeld een nieuw matras voor een goedkoop bed kan kopen zodat ze dezelfde voordelen hebben als dure bedden. Je zou dan niet meer bepaalde bedden hoeven te kopen omdat die de meeste voordelen bieden.

It would be nice if Sims could update their beds and couches by buying a new mattress or upholstering rather than buying a new bed or couch . That way all playable households don’t end up having the same furniture, and children beds still look like children beds.

As far as upgrading beds and couches by buying stuff for them, this is a really interesting idea! It could be a bit tricky to show players what the stats are on their furniture when the majority of upgrading happened through interactions rather than by replacing objects in build/buy, but I think it could be done.
